Social Distance

5meohd Big rims with a very nice skittery/flammy looseness. As always, chord perfection. TUNE.

Stillhead delivers a Rhythm & Sound esque deep and dubby number for his third single this July. Channeling the sounds of deep, dubby house and dub-techno, this track was (as you can imagine) created during lockdown and feels vast and expansive while retaining that huge bass-weight Stillhead brings to all of his production work.

Social Distance is track 5 on Stillhead’s forthcoming album “Restraint And Reverb” and is the third of 4 singles to drop in the run up to the album release.

The hazy, blurred overlap between techno and ambient, the dubby fringes of deep house and melancholy bass music or the closing gap which separates drum and bass from dub-techno, it’s all within our Brightest Dark Place.
